Content I'm really happy to hear your son is doing so well. It takes a lot to get clean and continue to stay clean from opiates. As a former heroin addict myself I know its by far the most challenging thing a person can experience and successfully accomplish. But I just wanted to make one quick comment on the 85% success rate. This success rate is misleading and is only based on the completion of their program. That's where it ends. It has nothing to do with staying clean and sober following the completion of their program. Unfortunately the reality is that only 10% to 15% of addicts stay clean the rest of their lives. Can you imagine a treatment facility advertising a 15% success rate? They are a business just like any other business and therefore they rely on the "statistics" that will bring them the most profit. I wish you well and I truly hope your son is part of that 15%.
