Title What do you do with a 19 year old?

Content My brothers daughter Jessica, 19 years old, emotionally about 15, decided it was her life ambition to live in Los Angeles from a small town in Vermont (pop.15,000). Without notice to her parents, bought a bus ticket crosscountry, and couldn't be talked out of it. She was in L.A. for 2 weeks, couldn't get a job, of course, and reluctantly convinced by her frantic parents to stop and try Salt Lake City where my wife and I and infant daughter live. We got her a cheap decent apartment through my mother in law. We helped her apply for jobs, but it all slid downhill. This naive country girl who used to love to go fishing, wants to be a cool goth street kid. She has refused our help, been to an emergency room, for drugs, and is now evicted. Last seen in the company of a tatooed, smoking pregnant woman and in pajama bottoms and a t shirt. The landlady , a very nice woman, said police told her drugs were dealt out of that apartment, in the building, police arrested a drug dealer. My brother and his wife,2000 miles away, are of course frantic. They are good, loving parents, Jessica was raised in a beautiful, safe home, she has a little brother and sister. My brother seems to want me to do something, but she is 19 legally I can't force her to do anything, she won't even talk to anyone in her family, that wouldn't be "cool", My wife and I have decided to pray, wait until she hits he r"bottom" and decides she may want to go home, before she dies. I hope she takes the right road.
