Content I saw you on tv this morning and had to come here.I lost my daughter Sarah to herion addiction,she died July 1,2006.Her death was caused by a mixture of herion and fentynol,which has become very popular with dealers because they can mix it in to make more to sell,people don't know what they are injecting into their bodies.The coroner said it only takes a small amount equal to two or three grains of salt to kill a person.Sarah had been an addict for about 4 years,she lost everything ,her children,home ,job,everything except the father of her children,who is the one who got her into drugs.He went into the addiction with her,and he is still there.Sarah got arrested in Feb. and spent almost 3 months in jail,that is the only way she had a chance to get clean.She found Jesus in jail and asked me to take her to church when she got out,which I did.When she got out of jail,she went straight into rehab.It was court ordered for her to stay a minimum of 30 days,after 11 days,they said she was doing so well,they released her.She came home as my real daughter again,I had my Sarah back,the one that was loving and caring.We spent every day together ,taking her to therapy,helping her to get her life back.She was moving the next week to a town an hour away where my sister lives,she had a job and a new home lined up.All she talked about was how much she had hurt her children and the family that loved her.She wanted to be a normal person again and be a mother to her children.Sarah's birthday was June 27,she turned 30,her boyfriend(they never married) took her out Friday night to celebrate,the next day my daughter was found dead in my niece's bathroom.He had given her the present that ended her life.The needle was still almost full,only a tiny bit had been used,the fenynol mixture is so potent,it only takes a drop in your bloodstream to kill.This has left 3 beautiful children to grow up without the mother who loved them,along with a large family who were doing all they could to help her.She left a sister and brother who are lost without her,she was my first child,my parents' first grandchild,she was such a big part of our family that is gone.During the last few months of her life,she tried so hard,had so many dreams that we talked about every day,so many heart to heart talks we shared.I didn't know we were nearing the end,I thought it was a brand new beginning,I had my daughter back,her kids had their loving mother again.At least I got to be with her every day and told her how very much she meant to me.During the last few years,she had pulled away,but in the end,she came back to us and I have the memories nowof all the things we said to each other.The last words I ever heard her say to me was "I love you,mom".I buried my daughter on July 5,2006 along with my heart,part of it went with her.I need people to know it can happen to anyone,my Sarah was a beautiful,decent person,just one moment of weakness is all it takes to destroy lives.She never knew the fentynol was there,till it was too late.My family has a website for her,so people get to see the person she was.www.sarah-beth mullinsmemory of.com.My daughter is free now,I just want to help save one precious life by telling her story.I know yur loss and pain,may God be with all of us.
