Content As someone who has 'experimented' with drugs- it is bad. I was 22 years old when i firsted started to use cocaine. It was not- though at the time i felt it was- the best times of my life. I had the love of my family and friends that help me get through it. Things I have done I am embarassed to even think about in my own head. I can't even think about how drugs effected my family and those around me. The only thing that they did do was that they never gave up on me. You can not ever give up on your son! He is your son and never be ashamed of him. Always remind him that you care. Yes he isn't a minor anymore, but he is still your son and him being an adult shouldn't get you down as though you can not have a say in what may happen to him or what he is going through. I've seen the strongest the most anti-drug people fall into the hands of cocaine. I was one of them. You have just keep exploring your options, if it means more hotlines, rehab or even calling the police again just tomake sure he doesn't overdose then by all means do it. Your son your child doesn't want to be on drugs. No one wants to be addicted to drugs no one wants to have this problem. Addiction is the same in the beginning for everyone- you feel that you can control it, but then it spirals and you cant. This is why it is an addiction- it cant be controlled you need help not to control, but to stop. My advice- love your son and never give up on him.
