Content	Arron's mom, Don't feel bad about your feelings wanting him to stay in jail. My daughter (22) just got out and I too wish she would have stayed there. I know she had a roof over her head and food to eat and NO DRUGS! I knew I would either find her in jail or the morgue. I guess you could say I was lucky this time. From what I've been told, the more you help them the worse your hurting them. Some people call it tough love. I think it's one of the hardest things a mother can do besides bury your child. My daughter also thinks the only thing she needs is a meeting here or there. They will not follow through with it. And as you know It doesn't help that his girlfriend is also a drug addict. The only advice I can give you is to stay strong and stop helping him. Stop taking his phone calls, stop giving him money for "gas or food". It's hard at first, really hard, but as time goes on it does get a little easier. Please tell his Grandmother the same thing. They know just the right things to say, and it's usually what we want to hear and believe. Be strong and keep praying for him.
